Thermostatic Mixing Valve

A Thermostatic Mixing Valve is a valve that blends hot water (stored at temperatures high enough to kill bacteria) with cold water to ensure constant, safe outlet temperatures preventing scalding. They also shut-off rapidly in the event of a hot or cold supply failure to prevent scalding or thermal shock.

Operating Parameters:
  • Working pressure: 0.03-1Mpa
  • Ideal working pressure: 0.1.-0.5Mpa
  • Cold water supply temperature range: 5-29 Celsius degree
  • Hot water supply temperature range: 40-99 Celsius degree
  • Setting range: 35-55 Celsius degree
  • Rated flow: 28-32 L/Min
  • Cold water supply failure test: If the cold-water supply fails, the volume of outlet water collected during the first 5±0.5 sec shall be less than 200 ml and the temperature of outlet water shall be less than 49 Celsius degree. If the volume of water collected during the first five seconds ≥200 ml, the outlet temperature shall not exceed 42 Celsius degree, the volume of water collected during the second collection period of 30±0.5 sec shall be less than 300 ml. The temperature of the water outlet shall be at 38±2 Celsius degree after restoration of the cold-water supply. The sizes up to 1” are with inbuilt check valve. For installation of above 1” size, check valve at hot as well as cold water inlet should be used.
